A European conversation on fair pay and collective action in the creative sector

As a partner of EUNIC Netherlands, Litouws Cultureel Centrum together with the Embassy of Lithuania in The Hague, is pleased to present Lithuanian designer and design researcher Dovilė Gaižauskienė at FAIR P(L)AY, an event initiated by EUNIC Netherlands together with Dutch Culture and Foundation We Are. The participation of Dovilė Gaižauskienė is supported by the Lithuanian Embassy in The Hague and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Design at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU).

Dovilė will join Luiza Moroz, Head of Policy at Culture Action Europe, and fellow European artists and designers Pedro Lobo (Portugal), Emma Verhoeven and Gijs de Boer (Netherlands) to explore how creative professionals can share resources, risks, responsibilities and knowledge—and how collective action can help create a fairer, more sustainable creative sector.

Taking place during Dutch Design Week, the event accompanies The Collective Response: Design for Shared Action, an exhibition at Foundation We Are exploring how creative practices can foster collaboration, build communities and inspire collective action.

The programme brings together concrete practices, different European contexts and futures-oriented perspectives, connecting individual experiments to wider questions about how creative work is valued and supported.

Free admission — no DDW ticket required.
